We can understand why people are attracted to fabric awnings. They’re colorful, relatively inexpensive and come in all shapes and sizes.

But they’re only inexpensive if you take into account the cost to buy them once. Because you WILL have to replace them. Multiple times…

And, they’re colorful only if you picture them as they look on the day of installation. Give them a few months in the sun and you’ll be wondering what happened.

One recent client had put up with the faded color of their fabric awning for some time. But when the awning finally tore and rain began pouring through, they were ready to replace it with copper rather than going with fabric again.

The canopy they chose was our 1000 series standard canopy awning. This particular awning was the perfect solution for protecting their newly painted front door which is now a pretty robins egg blue!

The awning was a standard size which made it easy to measure, ship and install… meaning they had their new metal awning up in no time flat and could throw that faded and tattered fabric awning out!
