Sometimes, Larger is Custom
At first glance, this copper awning may not look all that customized. But that’s because you can’t really tell how BIG it is from the pictures!
Design-wise, it’s based on our 300 series awning that we sell tons of, and has beautiful sweeping sides. Our standard awning in this series goes up to 72” (6’) wide and 2 feet tall, which fits a lot of applications.
However, in this case, the client wanted the awning to be taller AND wider than the standard awning as he wanted it more to the grand scale of the front of his house.
He wanted big, so big he got!
This custom awning is 12 feet long, by 4 feet high!
That’s exactly DOUBLE the size of our largest standard awning & easily one of the biggest we’ve ever made.
Also, due to the sheer size of the awning, we needed to build a custom frame to hold it up.
Was this a problem? Not for our team. Our craftsman were up for the challenge and built the awning to our client’s exact specifications.
